Privacy Policy

WallMapper ("the app", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the app.

Short version

• We do not collect any personal information.
• We do not have accounts, servers, or analytics.
• Map search and routing queries are sent to third-party OpenStreetMap services. No personal identifiers are attached.
• Your purchases are handled by Apple.

What the app stores on your device

• Your poster design settings are saved locally via iOS UserDefaults.
• A single flag indicating whether you have used your one free export is stored in iCloud Key-Value Store, tied to your Apple ID.
• Exported poster images are written to your Photos library only when you tap "Save to Photos."

None of this data is sent to us.

Third-party services

WallMapper uses the following services to provide map data. When you search for a city or create a route, a small request is sent to these services:

OpenStreetMap / Nominatim

We use Nominatim to look up city names and coordinates. When you type a city name, the text is sent to nominatim.openstreetmap.org.

OSRM (routing)

When you enable Custom Route and set two points, their coordinates are sent to router.project-osrm.org to calculate the driving path.

Vector map tiles are served from tiles.openfreemap.org.

Apple

• In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We never see your payment details.
• iCloud Key-Value Store syncs a single flag ("free export used") across your devices, tied to your Apple ID.
• Apple privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy

What we do not do

• We do not track you.
• We do not use analytics SDKs (Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.).
• We do not use advertising SDKs.
• We do not build user profiles.
• We do not sell data — we have none to sell.

Your rights

Because we do not hold any of your data, there is nothing for us to delete, export, or correct. To remove the app's local data, uninstall the app. To clear the iCloud flag, manage iCloud storage in iOS Settings.

For third-party services (OpenStreetMap, etc.), refer to their policies linked above.

Children's privacy

WallMapper is rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children. The same zero-collection policy applies to all users.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
